McCann Piano Service, the Greater Westside Board of Trade, and the West Kelowna Academy of Music came together to provide an outdoor piano for the use of the public. All are invited to stop by and enjoy the piano on the front porch of the Westside Board of Trade building just in front of the West Kelowna Academy of Music at 2372 Dobbin Rd.

Robbie Short is based in Vernon but is considered part of our music community here at West Kelowna Academy of Music. He fixed two violins that were badly broken at the neck (one belonging to an adult student, the other was Karen's electric violin). Robbie did an excellent job at a very reasonable rate. He is often in Kelowna and has clients from all over BC and Alberta. As the back of his business card states: Fall in love with your musical instrument all over again...
